Terms and Conditions

1. You / Your refer to the person that registers and advertises their property details.
2. The Terms and Conditions of the use of this site and associated services will be published at HouseRefer.com. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will be uploaded to this web site.
3. All chargeable services require payment in advance. If the service is not supplied payment will be refunded.
4. When you submit your property details to us for publication you are confirming that you are the legal owner of the property with the right to sell, or you have legal power of attorney on behalf of the property owner, or similar legally agreed right to advertise the property on behalf of the owner. You further agree to HouseRefer.com publishing those details. That the details supplied by you are true and accurate and not misleading in any material way.
5. Property details uploaded must be accurate to the knowledge and belief of the user, and not misleading in any material way. Any known or discovered errors must be corrected as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours from the discovery.
6. Property details must not contain any wording that contains racist, homophobic, sexist, defamatory, offensive, illegal or otherwise inappropriate wording or images (photographs). HouseRefer.com reserve the right to alter or amend the wording of any listing if the words do not meet these requirement or disrupt the layout of the site.
7. When selling a property you have the opportunity to link to a web site. That URL (web site link) must have details of the same property and the page linked to must contain no prohibited content (see above). You will remain responsible for the link and the site / pages that it links to, for both content and accuracy.
8. HouseRefer.com reserve the right to remove any property details that contain, or appear to contain, content that is racist, homophobic, sexist, defamatory, offensive, illegal or otherwise inappropriate, such removals will not be subject to a refund.
9. Property details will be removed from the visible web site if there have been no changes to the data of that property after one year.
10. Property details will be deleted from the web server if there have been no changes to the data of that property after a further one year.
11. The web site data and photographs will be regularly backed up to a different site. However, if through computer failure, natural disaster, criminal behaviour or other activity outside our control, the data is corrupted, lost or deleted HouseRefer.com will restore the web site and associated property data to 'the last good state'. Therefore, it is important and agreed that property owners keep a personal copy of the images and text to enable the property details to be recreated if required.
12. All images / photographs remain the intellectual property of the person creating those images (i.e. the photographer). However, by uploading files to HouseRefer.com you, transfer the right to use those images to HouseRefer.com.
13. Images uploaded greater than the suggested / required sizes may be resized.
14. HouseRefer.com cannot be held responsible for any contact you receive after you publish your property and/or contact details on the web site.
15. Your use of this web site constitutes your agreement to all of these terms and conditions.
16. In the event of a default of this agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by British law.
